Four Great Ideas About Making Money Online

There are plenty of ways of making money online that are not that difficult to get into and easy for you to make extra cash.
If you think that you cannot make any type of good money online, you need to seriously think again, folks. There are plenty of great ways of making money online that have absolutely nothing to do with selling anything. Here are four different ways that you can make some extra money on the internet without even having to leave your home; blogging, using AdSense ads, taking paid surveys and freelance works.
1. Blogging:
This is one of the fastest growing ways of making money online today. There are certain rules involved here and certain guidelines that you must follow. These have to do with the topics that you pick and what you write in your blog posts. While there is almost nothing that is off-limits as far as the content goes, there are a few exceptions, and chief among these is sexually explicit and very vulgar language. You will also get yourself in trouble if you are posting slanderous material of any type.
2.Using AdSense Ads:
These are the little ads that you are always seeing along with your search results when you are looking something particular and on just about every web page that is online. These little ads are a small way of making money online for the person who is putting them up on their web site. Granted, you do not make a whole lot, maybe a penny or two each time someone clicks on one of these little ads’ but that money adds up quickly as the number of visitors to your site increases.
3. Taking Paid Surveys:
Hey, do not make the mistake of thinking that this is a rip-off and that you are not going to be making money online this way! There are plenty of paid survey sites that are plenty willing to pay you anywhere between $2 and $75 per survey for the time that you took to fill the survey out. Yes there are indeed surveys that only award you with points to use towards gift certificates and/or other items, or sweepstakes entries. These are the ones that you might want to avoid or combine them with the other paying surveys. You might need to pay a small fee up front to get onto and into some paid survey sites and lists; but this is well worth it.

So have countless others’ and so they have gotten connected with one of the many freelance work sites that are online and have gotten started. Freelance writing is not the only game in town either! Myspace, Facebook and Twitter all have people who might want to read what you’re writing about. Look around the other social media sites to see if there is something you can use. The more people who have a chance to see your work, the more quality readers you will receive.

This sort of reciprocal activity is common among bloggers. Find blogs within your niche and ask the authors if you can exchange links. This broadens readers’ horizons by giving them something new.
4. Email Readers About Cool Stuff:
This technique can be used after you know what some of your readers’ hot buttons are. If you know that someone loves it when you post about the money making aspect in your niche, send that person an email to tell them that a good article like that is coming up.
5. Join or Create Communities About Your Topic:
Using your favorite blog service, create something about the niche that you love. If there is already a community dealing with that niche, join it and comment regularly. This will allow more readers to see you and you can gain expert status.

You read some great blogs which offer ideas and strategies related to your niche. Don’t be afraid to link to other blogs or put them in your blog roll. You will be thanked with more readership.

Blog posts are generally limited to one topic. An ezine or newsletter can cover plenty of subjects or further elaborate upon some of the items discussed. Newsletters and ezines provide more valuable information that people want to read.
8. Write an E-book and Give Away a Free chapter:
By giving away a chapter in your e-book you are seen as more personable and generous. Your readers will send that chapter to others and you will generate more interest about your blogs.
9. Comment on Other Blogs in Your Niche:
Every blogger says something different about the niche subject. Each blogger presents different ideas and new thoughts. Commenting on other blogs allows your blog to gain publicity and allows you to be seen as an expert.
10. Put Your Blog’s Address on Your Business Card:
Interactions happen in the real world and business cards are still exchanged. Your blog is something that you’re proud of, so why not let your associates take a look at it?

How to Write a Good Blog?

There’s a lot of blogs out there on the Web, most of which don’t entice one to go back regularly to read updates. What is missing from these on-line journals that would essentially make them ‘good’ blogs? Well, the answers in life usually come down to simplicities. So let’s look at the problem like we were children. Children don’t complicate life with miscellaneous information, and when they speak they tell you straight to the point exactly how they feel and think about a subject. First of all, we should ask the questions,” Why do blogs exist? And what are they here for?” Well, in an ideal world ‘good’ blogs would help people connect, sharing knowledge and feelings about issues in life. As they are journals written by individuals we would hope that they’d be readable and open to comment by all other people, not just a select group of friends. The key is speaking in a way that is understandable by the masses, get rid of acronyms and local slang that only few will comprehend. Keep the sentences grammatically simple and generally short and concise. Try to write in your blog as often as possible because if people enjoy reading your thoughts and ideas they’ll want to communicate or at least be filled in regularly on ‘your world’. Ask questions, comment on other blogs of similar content, start communities with others you’ve never met, based on your interests. Keep focused; if your blog is about thoughts on war and peace, keep your thoughts on the latest movie and how hungry you are for somewhere else. The idea is to incite intelligent communication so that in time our collective stockpile of knowledge and wisdom will gradually grow like a tree in fertile soil. I think of most importance is the fact that you want this journal to be ‘good’ reading. Of course we all have ideas about what genres and styles we like, but writing from your heart and soul is imperative for the connection with others that you’re looking for. Share yourself; don’t hide behind walls of fear of ridicule and judgment. In real life relationships trust, respect, intimacy, and unity are all necessary for a bond to form. It’s the same in the ‘virtual’ world; people want to hear from real people-not just one-sided, highly opinionated arguments from egos that don’t want to hear the ‘other side of the coin’. In my next article I’ll attempt to write simple basics of how to write for beginners.
